About Us

Incorporated in the year 1979, we, at Purbasthali Block-1 TTSS Ltd. (Tangail Tantubay Samabay Samity Ltd.) offer an impressive range of scarves with unbeatable variety and value. Our society is the legendary manufacturer and exporter of scarves and other textile items. Our scarves capture a classic and simple elegance that matches the sensibility of today's woman. We are specialists in Tangail Sarees, Jamdani Sarees, Silk Tussar Bali Sarees, Naksha Sarees and Kanta Sarees. The company also offers unmatched bedspreads, pillow covers and curtains in appealing designs and textures. Backed up by a strong team of dexterous designers, we are capable of producing more than 75 new designs every year. What was started in the year 1979 with a small team of 100 members, has now emerged into a huge business house with an army of more than 300 members.
The society was started by a visionary Mr. Anil Kumar Basak, in order to avail the benefits of unity and also to benefit the local community by providing jobs. At present, Mr. Bhavej Basak is the President and Mrs. Depali Basak is the Secretary of the Society. The registered society has won about 14 National Awards for its excellent designs.

items reflect fine workmanship, creativity and excellent finishing.
Quality Assurance
As a quality driven organization, we follow rigid quality
control procedures at every stage of our process to ensure flawless
production. Every operation is executed under the tight vigilance of
diligent professionals that hardly leaves any corner for quality
degradation. We source the finest quality of raw materials from
different places like N.H.D.C, Kolkata and Bangalore. The production is
carried out by employing latest power looms to give a perfect finishing
touch. Committed towards total client satisfaction, we dispatch our
products after expert's inspection.
Unique Designs
We are well supported by a strong team of creative designers who know
the art of designing heart stealing solutions for our chic and trendy
clients. Our range in varied colours provides a natural feeling and
texture, meant to suit the season.
Sales
We sell our products through our showrooms and by participating in all
the National Handloom Expos. The Society is having two showrooms in West
Bengal - one in Hatsimla, and the other in Kolkata. Our
yearly turnover crosses Rs. 20 million.
Development Programmes
There are a number of development projects being run by us. One of them is
Handloom Export Scheme which is partly funded by the Development
Commissioner of Handlooms, Government of India.
Infrastructure
Our unit is located in the village Hastimala Post, Samudragarh, Burdwan
District in West Bengal. We are empowered with a robust technical setup comprising of 330 looms, 15 loom sheds and 2 warp sheds to realize
all our business objectives. Our huge storage facility and wide
distribution network provide us the capability to ensure timely
delivery of the products.
